About Us 

Immaculata Chronicles is Immaculata's first-ever high school newspaper. It is a digital non-profit student-run newspaper established in 2022 for students to show strengthen their literature skills and showcase their hobbies. It publishes weekly with issues written by Immaculata's own students.

The news is headed by the news co-editors in chief and presidents (Udechukwu Pluto and Isabel Nielson)  Its nearly 30-person staff works across digital media, including photography, and journalism. The News is held in the learning commons and supervised by Ms. Kasey Kirkup, meeting are mostly led by one to three editors who typically have experience in their respective areas.

The newspaper website was created by Pluto Udechukwu, a grade 12 student at Immaculata High School.

Sumbissions

To submit a letter to the editors or creative writing, please email macchronicles.ca@gmail.com 

Creative writing pieces typically run 700-800 words, while letters to the editor run 400-500 words.

In your email, please include your full name, any affiliations with Immaculata High School (ie. student, teacher, alumni) and an email or mobile phone number so that you can be contacted if your piece is chosen for publication.

All submissions to the News must be previously unpublished. MAC Chronicles reserves the right to edit all submissions prior to publication and will contact authors regarding any major changes.
