The 2023 Honda CR-V is the BEST generation of CR-Vs. The CR-V is a 5-Seater SUV. It is probably one of the most popular SUVs in North America. The 2023 Model got a very nice and much-needed refresh and facelift. The CR-V is a pretty standard SUV, great for families because it is comfortable, has lots of space, surprisingly some luxury features and many safety features. The car has many cameras and sensors all around, has seat belt warnings for all spots in the car, has extended hill start assist and a great AWD system. With the 2023 Model of the CR-V, they now offer a Hybrid version. The Hybrid version provides extra range and extra towing capabilities (1000 lbs). I chose the 2023 CR-V for the Most Improved SUV because all the features compared to the older models are crazy. The 2023 version is faster, more fuel efficient, longer and wider, AWD, intelligent cruise control, a hybrid version, better looks, and LED headlights. I could go on forever about why the 2023 CR-V is the most improved SUV of the year.

The 2022 Ford Bronco is crazy impressive for off-road and on-road driving. It is an off-roader SUV that is a beast. While the base model may not have the most cylinders and most powerful engine, there are so many trims to choose from including their new “Raptor” trim which has over 420hp. Comparing the Bronco to its main competitor, the Jeep Wrangler, the Bronco has better daily driving and a much more fun off-roading experience. For 2022, the Bronco has HOSS suspension. It has many different modes for smooth and bumpy roads, hills, off-roads, and more. It has a 12’’ touchscreen with built-in navigation, a wifi-hotspot (you have to pay) and Apple Carplay/Android Auto. The Bronco has many driving assists that you can turn off for off-roading modes like auto-high beams, parking sensors everywhere on the car, Lane Keeping Assist, AEB and more. I chose it for the best off-roader because compared to its competitors, it has great quality for both on and off roads, unlike others which are meant just for off-roading. Ford made this bronco with lots of comfort and convenience, along with many good features for all sorts of terrain.

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica is probably the most fuel-efficient minivan on the road. The Pacifica is in my opinion the most underrated minivan right now. It has a very responsive and powerful V6 engine and a plug-in hybrid with a 16kWh lithium-ion battery adding 45 km of range. It is the only 2023 van that can tuck its middle-row seats into the floor to make more space for carrying cargo. Although Chrysler doesn’t recommend towing with the Pacifica Hybrid, it can still tow up to 3600 lbs. The Pacifica has a lot of small things that help families like cubbies, cupholders, slide-out bins and more. The van has lots of connectivity like built-in navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto along with an optional Wi-Fi hotspot and optional rear-seat entertainment system that has two touchscreens, one on each headrest, and can have the Amazon Fire TV built-in. In the van, there are 12 USB ports all over including some that are USB-C which is faster for charging. It also has Amazon Alexa Voice Control which can help control stuff by just pressing the button on the steering wheel and talking. The Pacifica has a glossy 10.1-inch touchscreen that's surrounded by climate controls and vents. I chose the Pacifica for the Best Minivan because the van looks super stylish, has many little features, a super comfortable and nice interior that makes it feel like an SUV. Also, the plug-in hybrid or regular hybrid options are amazing.

The 2023 Rivian R1T is the most fun truck for on and off roads. The Rivian R1T is a new fully-electric pickup truck. The R1T is similar to a Tesla in some ways but the complete opposite in others. It can charge at Level 3 Charging speeds and also can tow up to 11,000lbs! Towing will *obviously* use more battery which shortens the range. It has a very unique and stylish design that I think looks amazing and on the interior it has many high quality materials like wood and vegan leather.  The truck also has air suspension, which also means you can control the height of the truck from the inside screen. The inside screen is very similar to a Tesla’s screen. It's a 16’’ screen that controls almost everything in the car, including climate controls, media, navi, and pretty much anything you can think of that can be controlled in the car. It also has a separate screen for the gauge display with speed, drive modes and other driving info. The screen unfortunately doesn't have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto but has built-in navigation and Bluetooth. The R1T is very fast, with a 0-100 time of just 3.3 seconds! This truck has many quirky, fun features. Some being the wireless (Bluetooth) speaker that is hidden under the centre console and can just come out and connect to your phone, the flashlight built into the driver's side door, the USB and 12v outlet plugs in the truck bed, you get it. Rivian put many little fun things to make the truck more outstanding. Another big point of the R1T is what Rivian calls the “Gear Tunnel”. It is a tunnel along the width of the truck between the bed and the backseats, it has a small door on each side and can hold much luggage and extra stuff inside. I chose the Rivian R1T for the best truck because of how unique and efficient it is. I could go on for hours talking about this truck, Rivian did amazing with the R1T.

The 2022 Subaru WRX did not disappoint the Subaru and Car Community. 

The WRX is a 5-Seater sedan. For the 2022 model, Subaru refreshed and facelifted the WRX series. The new design looks great and the performance is also great but the biggest thing they did was discontinue the famous “STI” trim. The STI trim was kind of like the “special sport trim” and has been entertaining car enthusiasts since the late 80s. Even though this is disappointing, the new WRX is still nice. It has a 271 horsepower engine that is powerful yet very fuel efficient being able to go 690 km on a single tank of gas for such a small car. The WRX has a smaller trunk, with only 12.5 cubic feet of space. You can choose a manual or automatic transmission, many people say the manual transmission is really smooth on this WRX. On the inside, there are some high-quality materials and some basic ones, but you get a nice vertical 11.6’’ touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Subaru also has an 11-speaker Harman-Kardon sound system which sounds amazing. I chose the WRX for the best compact car because of how nice it looks compared to its competitors, the manual or automatic option, connectivity and fuel efficiency. Even though Subaru discontinued the STI, they still made a great new WRX.
